With the Presidential Decree numbered 9774 published in the Official Gazette dated May 1st, 2025 and numbered 32887, the thresholds specified in the Decree on Determination of Companies Subject to Independent Audit (“Decree”) which was issued pursuant to Article 397 of the Turkish Commercial Code numbered 6102 have been amended.

As of May 1, 2025, the thresholds for determining the companies subject to independent audit have been increased as follows:

These amendments will be taken as a basis in determining whether the relevant companies will be subject to independent audit for the accounting periods starting on and after January 1, 2025. On the other hand, it should be noted that all companies included in List I of the Decree will be subject to independent audit regardless of these criteria.
